Breaking News on Lost Bulgarian Mig-29 Fighter Jet - Pilot's Life Jacket Found
The life jacket of the pilot of the lost fighter was found in the sea today at about 10 o'clock, BNT reported.
The search for him continues. It involves forces and assets from the Navy, the Joint Special Operations Command, the Border Police and the Air Force.

A United Airlines plane suffered a fiery engine failure on Feb. 20 shortly after taking off from Denver for Hawaii, dropping massive debris on a residential area before a safe emergency landing, officials said.
Avalanches claim three lives, rescuers injured
Preddvor – Two avalanches were triggered in the area of Mt Storžič (2,132 metres) in the western part of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps mountain range on Saturday, burying four climbers. Three died at the scene and one sustained severe injuries, the Administration for Civil Protection and Disatser Relief says on its website. Two rescuers were also injured.

Cyprus, Greece conduct joint search and rescue exercise
A joint search and rescue exercise dubbed "SALAMIS - 02/21" was conducted on Monday between Cyprus and Greece.
The exercise took place within the Republic of Cyprus' area of responsibility for search and rescue operations, and saw the participation of the Greek Frigate Hydra and an AW-139 helicopter of the Cyprus National Guard General Staff Air Command.
Palau-flagged ship sinks off Black Sea coast
A Palau-flagged dry cargo ship sank off the coast of Turkey's Black Sea province of Bartın on Jan. 17, according to an official.
Rescue workers managed to save six crew members and reached the body of one other on the Arvin, which sank off the coast of Bartın province, said Bartın Governor Sinan Güner.

Russian freight ship sinks off Turkey's Black Sea coast
A Russian-flagged cargo ship sank off Turkey's Black Sea coast on Jan. 17 and emergency workers were out rescuing the crew, an official said.
The ship, named Arvin, sunk off the Inkumu Coast of the northern province Bartin, said Gov. Sinan Güner.
Güner added that rescue efforts are underway for an estimated 15 crew members stranded in three lifeboats.

Missing girl and boy found VIDEO
They were found after a full-day search led by the Ministry of the Interior, a helicopter unit of the Ministry of the Interior, the Mountain Rescue Service, a hunting association from Despotovac and numerous volunteers.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that Milica and Stefan were found unharmed near the town of Brezovica.

Two killed in İzmir floods
At least two people have died after a light commercial vehicle was swept away by floodwaters in the western province of İzmir.
Due to heavy rainfall, a stream in the province of İzmir's Menderes district overflowed on Dec. 13, and the vehicle carrying five people started drifting away as it attempted to cross the stream.
