Hungarian PM Orban: We Must End Europe's Sovietisation

Hungary's PM Viktor Orban has called for the salvation of Europe via national states and Christian values, reported BGNES.

Hungary wants to put an end to the "sovietisation of Europe" and to protect its borders from mass migration, added Orban during the celebrations commemorating the anniversary of the anti-communist revolt in the country in 1956.

Dacic, Orban discuss bilateral relations, region

BELGRADE/BUDAPEST - Wrapping up an official visit to Budapest, Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met on Monday with Hungarian PM Viktor Orban to discuss bilateral relations and regional stability.

Orban noted Hungary fully supported Serbia's European integration, the Serbian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The national poll held in Hungary on whether to ban mandatory relocation of migrants from Southern Europe is expected to be invalid as turnout is lower than the 50% threshold, media reports say.
