Pakistani arrested over contraband merchandise

A 42-year-old Pakistani national faced a prosecutor over the weekend after being found in possession of counterfeit products and contraband cigarettes.

The suspect was detained by Loutraki police officers on the old Corinth-Patra national highway on Saturday after a search of his vehicle led to the discovery of counterfeit watches, mobile phone chargers and other fake products, as well as 330 contraband packets of cigarettes.
