Imam Sefcet Krasnici released after questioning

PRISTINA - Pristina Imam Sefcet Krasnici, who was arrested on earlier on Thursday, has been released after questioning, the news portal Telegraf from Pristina ha reported.

Krasnici is suspected of inciting hatred towards people of other ethnicity opr religion, according to the police.

Ten buildings were searched when Krasnici was arrested, including two non-governmental organisations, the media in Pristina say. A number of people linked to those buildings are being questioned, the police stated.

The buildings are located in Pristina, Urosevac, Gnjilane, Pec and Prizren, the statement says, adding that evidence was found at those locations.

Krasnici was arrested early on Thursday along with several other people.
