Theatre marathon - improvisation in English at DKCB

BELGRADE - A group of younglings will organize a 12-hour marathon dubbed "The Improvathron" performing their adaptation of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare at the Children's Cultural Center (DKCB) Belgrade on Saturday.

Members of the oldest group aged 12-16 of the English theatre workshop will try to set a new world record for the longest theatre improvisation in a foreign language, the DKCB announced.

The marathon, which will start at 10:00 a.m., will be an opportunity for the young enthusiasts to collect money for the upcoming youth theatre competition in Prague.

The performers have called on all interested to come at any time and stay as long as they want. The audience will be able to support the young actors setting the ticket price themselves, and in return they will be served home-made cookies.
