Djokovic eases into Abu Dhabi final

ABU DHABI - World No. 1 Novak Djokovic raced to the final of the tennis exhibition in Abu Dhabi after beating Swiss Stan Wawrinka 6-1, 6-2 in the second semi-final on Friday.

Playing his first match this year, the Serbian tennis ace demonstrated that he is ready to maintain the same high level of quality that brought him seven titles in 2014 and the year-end No. 1 spot in the Emirates ATP Rankings.

Djokovic won points easily until the seventh game of the second set when he failed to convert his first match point on Wawrinka's serve, but clinched the win on the second match point in the next game.

Next up for Djokovic is the final clash on Saturday against Great Britain's Andy Murray, who defeated Spaniard Rafael Nadal in straight sets in the first semi-final earlier today.
