Flash Estimates Show Bulgaria's GDP Increased at End of 2014

Bulgaria's GDP increased in the last quarter of 2014, according to the flash estimates of the Bulgarian National Institute (NSI), which were released on Friday.

According to the flash estimates, the GDP for the last quarter of 2014 increased with 1.2 % compared to the same period a year ago.

The GDP for the last quarter of 2014 amounted to BGN 22 557 M, which represents an increase of 0.3 % compared to the previous quarter.

Gross Value Added (GVA) amounted to BGN 19 567 M, which is an increase of 0.2 % compared to the previous quarter of 2014.

According to the flash estimates, GVA for the last quarter of 2014 increased with 1.1 % compared to the same period in 2013.

NSI is expected to release its official and final estimates on the GDP for the last quarter of 2014 on March 6.
