Romanian, Moldovan police officers discuss importance of data, information exchanges

'The head of the Moldovan delegation thanked the chief of the Romanian Police for support from Romanian police officers for solving complex cases and for good practices followed by them,' the Romanian General Police Inspectorate (IGPR) reports in a press statement.

The existing excellent cooperation between the Romanian Police and the Moldovan Police and the importance of data and information exchanges between them featured on the agenda of official talks between the two organisations on Wednesday in Bucharest.

'The head of the Moldovan delegation thanked the chief of the Romanian Police for support from Romanian police officers for solving complex cases and for good practices followed by them,' the Romanian General Police Inspectorate (IGPR) reports in a press statement.

The Romanian police officers were invited by their Moldovan counterparts to continue working visits to the Republic of Moldova, which have so far proved useful amidst the reform of the Moldova Police.

Wednesday's talks were part of a calendar of actions within an official visit to Romania by Moldova's Interior Minister Oleg Balan.

Balan is scheduled to meet Romania's Interior Minister Gabriel Oprea today at the main offices of Romania's Interior Ministry. AGERPRES
