Meet the stranger next to you via Greek app ‘Winks’

The new mobile application was developed by three friends who live and work in Thessaloniki, North Greece.

This application will change the way people communicate with each other and it was inspired by the need to come closer with unknown people who were around them, as the founders say.

“With Winks app you can visit Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat profiles of people who are around you while learning some basic information they want to share, such as their age and zodiac sign. You can also ‘wink’ to people who share common interests with you and get in touch with them directly,” says Pantelis Ieronymakis, one of the three founders, explaining how the application works.

But, why is this application different than the others? The direct connection with anyone you want to know more and he is close to you via his social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat).

“We provide a way to find out if you really have common interests with them,” says Pantelis Ieronymakis.
