SYRIZA government signs its first privatization concerning 14 regional airports

The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (TAIPED) signed contracts with Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide and its Greek partner Copelouzos Group for the 40-year concessions to operate, manage, develop and maintain 14 regional airports in Greece.

The airports include Aktio, Kavala, Thessaloniki, Corfu, Chania, Kefalonia, Kos, Mitilini, Mykonos, Rhodes, Samos, Santorini, Skiathos and Zakynthos.

Fraport-Copelouzos Consortium will take over the operation of the airports in autumn 2016, with the simultaneous deposit of the purchase price allocation amounting to 1.234.000.000 euros.
