Ronaldo is spending the new year with the man rumored to be his gay lover

Cristiano Ronaldo, aged 30,  is returning to Morocco to see Dutch-born kick boxer Badr Hari, aged 31, who he is allegedly in a gay relationship with. The bizarre story emerged after the Spanish press reported that Ronaldo was making regular trips ot North Africa. The party will be with each other at the expensive luxury hotel The Pearl Marrakech in Marrakech and will stay at a 2,400-pound-per-night suite in between the Real Madrid striker’s sports commitments.

Cristiano is expected to make the trip in his private jet. His strike partner Karim Benzema is also reported to have made the trip.

Rumors of a gay relationship were sparked when French TV presenter Daniel Riolo reacted to photos posted on Hari’s social media accounts showing him holding Cristiano in his arms and lazing together by a pool.

“I’m sure flying off to Morocco three or four times a week to see a friend and cuddle with him might have an impact on his performances eventually,” he said.

A year ago Cristiano split from long-term girlfriend Irina Shayk due to “personal problems” without elaborating. This was followed by reports focused on regular trips to Morocco that were reportedly  to see Portuguese-French model Melanie Martins.
