Djordjevic, Bartman: Cooperation excellent

BELGRADE - Marking a decade of the establishment of a state partnership programme between the Republic of Serbia and the Ohio National Guard, Defence Minister Zoran Djordjevic on Monday spoke with Ohio National Guard Commander Maj Gen Mark Bartman.

Djordjevic and Bartman recapped the results of the ten-year partnership, expressing satisfaction with the excellent cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) and the Ohio National Guard, the Serbian Defence Ministry said in a statement.

They agreed the programme was one of the best segments of US-Serbian bilateral military cooperation and also discussed ways of further cooperation as part of the programme.

"The past decade was very dynamic, marked by positive results of mutual interest," Djordjevic noted.
