Zimonjic/Verdasco defeated in Roland Garros semis

PARIS - Serbian tennis veteran Nenad Zimonjic and Spaniard Fernando Verdasco are out of the Roland Garros men's doubles tournament after losing 6-7 (3-7), 7-5, 6-3 to the Mexican-US pairing of Santiago Gonzalez and Donald Young in the semi-finals on Thursday.

Converting the crucial break points at the end of the second and at the beginning of the third set, Gonzalez and Young won after two and a half hours of play.
