Two Romanian entrepreneurs launch ViziteazaDelta.ro booking platform, following 130,000 euro investments

Two Romanian entrepreneurs Dragos Catalinoiu Gociman and Gabriel Iliescu will launch, on the occasion of Romania's Tourism Fair (TTR), the first presentation, booking and sale platform of a tourist destination of Romania, called ViziteazaDelta.ro, following some investments worth approximately 130,000 euro.

"So far, we have earmarked almost 130,000 euro to this project from our own funds, and in the next year we intend to invest another 70,000 euro, money that will also come from our own funds," Dragos Catalinoiu Gociman, who is one of the initiators of the ViziteazaDelta.ro project, stated.

The ViziteazaDelta.ro booking platform is, according to a release sent to AGERPRES, specialised in promoting integrated tourist packages (accommodation, transport, meals, trips, recreation, all in one place) and, it currently is the first and only platform of Romania that offers integrated tourist services for the Danube Delta.

"The main benefits that the tourists can have if they decide to use our platform are to create their holidays or corporate events on their own, on the "Do it yourself" principle and they benefit from 24/7 tourist assistance, seven days a week at the destination, because we have ViziteazaDelta.ro representatives that can help them to solve, at the scene, any kind of additional requirements that they might have," Dragos Catalinoiu Gociman added.

He underscored that the platform already has a team of 21 employees and a department dedicated to organising corporate events in the Danube Delta.

"We foresee that in the first year of functioning, after the official release, we will have tourist packages sales worth approximately 3 million euro. We believe that, just like us, Romanians have confidence in the Romanian tourism and see in the Danube Delta a top-European tourist destination," co-initiator of the project Gabriel Iliescu stated.

The entrepreneur stated that the Danube Delta can be that "steam-engine" able to make Romania an attraction point on the tourist map of the world.

ViziteazaDelta.ro represents a complete and integrated platform for the promotion and booking of tourist services of the Danube Delta. The ViziteazaDelta.ro team proposed to bring in the Danube Delta one million tourists until 2021 and significantly increase the occupancy rate of hotels, hostels and households of the Delta's villages both in season, extra-season and during regular weeks of the year.
