Supermodels and Celeb Couples Holiday in Montenegro and Croatia

Summer is, as usual, drawing a clutch of world-famous celebrities to Croatia's fashionable coast, including British catwalk legend Naomi Campbell, who has been enjoying cruising on the Adriatic.

The world-famous former model, together with French actress Farid Kheld and her family, and Frenchman Vincent Darre, have been holidaying on a luxury yacht, Croatian media reported on Thursday.

Campbell was snapped sunbathing on the yacht, and paddling a canoe around it with Kheld, while the French actress's son skied on the water.

After a day of pleasure on the yacht, Naomi walked with friends to the old town of Dubrovnik, followed by a dinner at one of the nearby restaurants.

The fashion legend is just one of many famous visitors to the Adriatic coast this year.

Hollywood actresses Thandie Newton, known as Mae in the series "Westworld", has also decided to spend her vacation, or at least part of it, in Croatia.

Colombian singer Maluma also visited Croatia at the end of July. He came to Dubrovnik with his girlfriend, Natalia, who has Croatian roots.

Kristina Mamic, spokesperson of the Croatian Tourist Board, told BIRN that Croatia is ever more interesting to the film world in general.

Hit romantic musical comedy Mamma Mia 2, "Here we Go Again," which grossed a thumping 190 million US dollars in only weeks after its release in July, was filmed partly on the Croatian island of Vis, though fictionally set in Greece.
