More than 36,000 interactive whiteboards to be installed

More than 36,000 interactive whiteboards will be installed in all elementary, middle and high schools.

The €150 million project is being financed by the European Union's Recovery and Resilience Fund. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Thursday visited a primary school in the northwestern Athens suburb of Agioi Anargyroi, which has been equipped with the boards.

The prime minister watched the interactive learning system in a fifth-grade class and declared himself impressed.

"One of our central priorities is to give you more flexibility in your lessons," he told teachers afterward.

"The great opportunity offered is precisely to discover all the capabilities of this new tool," he added.
