LGBT pride parade scheduled for September 28
BELGRADE - The Belgrade LGBT pride parade will be held on Sunday, September 28.
The pride march will be followed by a party outside the Belgrade City Council building, the Belgrade-based daily Politika reports.
This year's parade was initially slated for May 31, but the plan was scrapped in the wake of the massive floods that hit Serbia earlier that month, the paper reports.

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Thursday that he had not felt any pressures on Serbia from the EU to introduce sanctions against the Russian Federation over the situation in Ukraine, stressing that his position that Serbia would not impose sanctions on Russia would not change.
Sertic takes over Ministry of Economy
BELGRADE - Serbia's new Economy Minister Zeljko Sertic took over the duties of his new office from acting Minister of Economy Dusan Vujovic on Thursday.
The handover of office took place at the Economy Ministry.
Sertic was elected as minister of economy by the Serbian parliament yesterday, with 178 votes in favor and four against.
