Cosmote TV to screen ATP tour

Continuing for the next three years, the top tournaments of the ATP Tour will be hosted exclusively in Greece on Cosmote Sport HD, as leading subscription TV platform Cosmote TV announced on Thursday it has renewed its agreement with the ATP and ATP Media for the 2021-2023 seasons, securing over 2,000 hours of live broadcasts every year.

Slovenia takes out EUR 2 billion in fresh debt

Ljubljana – Slovenia issued on Tuesday a new 10-year bond of EUR 1.75 billion and extended the existing 30-year bond issue by another EUR 250 million. This is the first time it issued a bond with a negative yield to maturity. “For the first time in its history Slovenia issued today a long-term bond with a negative yield to maturity,” the Finance Ministry said.

Govt planning fresh borrowing

Ljubljana – The Finance Ministry has commissioned several international banks to manage a new, 10-year bond with maturity in 2031 and increase a 30-year bond issue due in 2050 in the near future, depending on the situation on financial markets.

Greece opened books for a new ten-year bond issue, a lead manager told Reuters on Tuesday.

Guidance was set at mid-swaps plus 170/175 basis points.

Turkey removes 3 foreign banks' FX transactions ban

Turkey on May 11 removed foreign exchange transactions bans with Turkish lira for three foreign banks -- BNP Paribas, Citibank, and UBS.

After banks fulfilled their Turkish lira commitments, the restrictions were removed, according to the information given by Turkey's Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK).

Turkey bars 3 foreign banks from FX transactions

Turkey has blocked three foreign banks- BNP Paribas, Citibank, and UBS- from doing foreign exchange transactions with the Turkish lira, the nation's banking watchdog announced on May 7. 

These banks failed to complete their Turkish lira commitments and so defaulted, said Turkey's Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA).
