US Magazine Condemns UNESCO Director-General Bokova as Fervent Communist
In an article published on Wednesday, The New American magazine identified the Director-General of UNESCO and likely candidate for UN Secretary-General, Irina Bokova, as a fervent communist.
The article is critical of US President Barack Obama for his apparent support for the candidacy of Bokova.

Croatia on Tuesday held a military parade to mark Victory Day - the 20th anniversary of Operation Storm when more than 2,000 Serbs were killed or went missing.
200,000 more ethnic Serbs from Croatia were expelled from the country during the operation.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US State Secretary John Kerry laid wreaths and exchanged gifts during their meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting between the Russian and US delegations in Sochi lasted for four hours, TASS news agency reports.

Serbian soldiers march on Red Square
MOSCOW -- Members of the Serbian Army (VS) Guard were among the servicement who on Saturday took part in the Victory Day parade on Moscow's Red Square.
This was the largest parade of its kind organized to date by Russia to mark May 9, the day when Germany capitulated in 1945.
