President Iohannis welcomes Moldovan Deputy Premier Natalia Gherman at Cotroceni Palace
President Klaus Iohannis on Wednesday welcomed at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace Moldovan Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman, with the Moldovan Minister reasserting on the occasion the determination of the Chisinau Government to carry on along the country's pro-European track.

Regina Maria frigate in NATO Black Sea naval group
The Romanian Navy will contribute to military exercises in the Black Sea in March, alongside the Standing NATO Maritime Group-2 (SNMG-2); Romania sends its frigate Regina Maria with a Puma Naval helicopter on board, a release of the Ministry of National Defence informed AGERPRES on Wednesday.

Portuguese Join NATO Aerial Mission in Romania
Four Portuguese F-16 fighter jets and 150 Portuguese troops and civilians belonging to NATO Air Police will come to Romania to take part in an aerial policing mission, Romania's Supreme Defence Council, CSAT, announced on Tuesday.
CSAT approved a request from Prime Minister Victor Ponta to allow the planes and troops into Romania during May and June 2015.

National Defence Council appreciates Ukraine's opening following Romania's support
The members of the Supreme Council for Country's Defence (CSAT) appreciated in their Tuesday meeting that Romania's consistent support to Ukraine marked an unprecedented opening of authorities in Kiev to cooperation with Romania, the Presidential Administration stated.
