Mayor of Bulgaria's Haskovo Proposes Gated Refugee Camps

Harmanli Mayor Hristo Liskov has sent a letter to Bulgarian PM and all political parties in Parliament. He has stated that the temporary refugee camp in the city should become gated.

The letter specifies 10 cases of incidents of criminal nature serving as justification for the proposal, as reported by Mediapool news website.

Turkey?s first-ever shelter house for transgender women has opened in Istanbul, thanks to the efforts of transgender individuals and donations raised at a trans fashion show, the woman behind the shelter has told news website Radikal.

Öykü Ay, a 39-year-old transgender woman, said they had opened their first transgender shelter house with the help of donations.
