CHP, İYİ Party call for early elections
Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and İYİ (Good) Party chair Meral Akşener on Nov. 17 called for early elections.
"We are making a clear call: You [government] cannot run the country. Go to elections as soon as possible," Kılıçdaroğlu said in a joint press conference with the İYİ Party leader.

Nation Alliance works on Strengthened Parliamentary System: CHP leader
Turkey's main opposition leader said on Oct. 1 that the Nation Alliance has been working on a new Constitution draft.
"As [Nation] Alliance, we are working on a strengthened parliamentary system," Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the leader of the Republican People's Party (CHP), told reporters in parliament.
Six opposition parties to hold a special meeting on parliamentary system
Representatives from six opposition parties will come together next week in parliament to specifically raise the need for the return to the parliamentary system, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
According to the agency, the meeting will take place on Oct. 5 after parliament will resume its works on Oct 1.
İYİ Party’s Akşener says she will run for prime minister not president
