Talks on modernizing Belgrade-Budapest railway
BELGRADE - General Director of Serbian Railways Dragoljub Simonovic said during a meeting with representatives of China Exim Bank and Hungarian State Railways (MAV) on Thursday that contracting Serbian firms for a project to modernize the Belgrade-Budapest railway is one of the priorities for the Serbian economy.

AmCham launches educational project for young leaders
BELGRADE - The American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia (AmCham) launched an educational project for young business managers and exceptional students in the country, which it titled "AmChamps - Young Leaders in Change", on Thursday.
AmCham Director Maja Piscevic told Tanjug that the program has an important reform component to it.
Macedonian foreign minister in Belgrade on Friday
BELGRADE - Macedonian Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki will pay a visit to Belgrade on Friday during which he will confer with Serbia's top officials.
Poposki will meet with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, Ivica Dacic, outgoing prime minister, and Ivan Mrkic, outgoing minister of foreign affairs.

Guitar Art Festival to kick off on March 11
BELGRADE - The 15th Guitar Art Festival in Belgrade will take place on March 11-16.
The international guitar festival was created in 2000 as a high-level musical event that gathers together classical and guitarists of other genres.
Naxos Trio will perform as the opening act for the event, and they will give the stage over to Brazilian artist Badi Assad.

Deadline for bids for Belgrade's railway station extended
BELGRADE, Feb 19 (Tanjug) – The deadline for the submission of bids for the first stage of works to overhaul and modernize the Belgrade Central railway station has been extended to February 28 because of a large number of companies interested in tendering, Serbian Railways General Director Dragoljub Simonovic told Tanjug on Wednesday.
