Inoculating billions of people against Covid-19 in the shortest possible time was always going to be a massive, unprecedented operation in terms of scale and complexity.

He told Prva TV that he had talked to his friends worldwide in order to provide more vaccines.
"Today, it is harder to get a vaccine than a nuclear weapon," he said.
Vui said that he expected 50.000 people to be vaccinated today.
"We are ninth in the world, I think we can be 6th or 9th in the next 3 days," he said.

Meanwhile, Britain, the first country from the Western hemisphere to start immunisation, has already vaccinated 4.5 million people, according to One World In Data.

Germany and Italy have vaccinated 1.1 million people each, while North Macedonia's EU neighbours, Greece and Bulgaria, have vaccinated 85,000 and 18,000 people respectively.

"This is an incredible thing, I don't know if people understand that," Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said.
Vui said that Serbia is the first country in Europe to receive such a large amount of Chinese vaccine. As he says, that is a significant proof of cooperation and friendship between Serbia and China.

"We are also thinking about vaccines from China and Russia, although our primary negotiations are about vaccines from the EU," Borovinic Bojovic told a press conference.

Turkey on Nov. 22 expressed its determination to achieve a "fair position" within the scope of the international regime to combat climate change in an addendum statement to the G20 Leaders' Summit Declaration. 

G20 nations emphasized the need for global access to coronavirus vaccines at a Saudi-hosted virtual summit on Nov. 21 dominated by efforts to tackle the pandemic and the worst global recession in decades.

French President Emmanuel Macron told the G20 summit on Saturday that the world's leading economies should join efforts to create a system that envisions disturbing first doses of potential coronavirus vaccines to least developed countries.

Decisions taken at this year's G20 summit will prove decisive in global efforts to curb the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and in meeting the world's expectations from the bloc, Turkey's president said on Nov. 21.
