Pakistan and Turkey are considering working on a joint project to produce a TV series, according to an official statement issued by Pakistani premier's office.

Prime Minister Imran Khan discussed the proposal with Turkish director Kemal Tekden and his team, who met with Khan at his office in Islamabad.

A pigeon has been arrested by police in India on suspicion of being a spy from Pakistan.

The bird was seized on Thursday after being spotted carrying a "stamped message" on its body.

The message was written partly in Urdu, the official language of Pakistan. It also contained a Pakistani phone number, according to reports.

All but two of the 99 people on board a Pakistan passenger plane were killed when it crashed into a residential neighborhood of Karachi, officials said on May 23, as rescue workers toiled through the charred and twisted wreckage strewn across the street.

A jetliner carrying 98 people crashed in Friday in a crowded neighborhood near the airport in Pakistan's port city of Karachi after an apparent engine failure during landing.

Officials said there were at least two survivors from the plane, and it was unknown how many people on the ground were hurt, with at least five houses destroyed.

Turkey on May 22 offered condolences to Pakistan over a deadly plane crash in the early hours of the day.

"We receive the news with deep sorrow that a Pakistan International Airlines plane crashed into a residential area close to Jinnah Airport in Karachi resulting in the loss of many lives," Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

A push by Bosnia and Herzegovina to deport all "economic migrants" to their countries of origin is not going to plan after disputes arose rapidly with Pakistan.

Turkey's aid agency has set up a 400-seat auditorium for Pakistani students in the county's southern Sindh province. 

Pakistan wants to enhance its defense cooperation with Turkey, said the general manager of STM, a leading Turkish defense firm.

The firm has developed several projects for Pakistan in the last decade with a special focus on its navy, Murat İkinci said.

It has pioneered many projects for Turkey and its projects in Pakistan have created export opportunities for many companies.

Turkey and Pakistan discussed on Feb. 18 ways to deal with the refugee crisis, as well as the influx of irregular migrants from neighboring states - challenges facing both the governments.

Turkey's president on Feb. 14 attended a joint session of Turkey-Pakistan Business Forum in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad.
