Teodorovici (PSD): Daciana Sarbu, Mircea Diaconu, Corina Cretu will be good ambassadors for Romania

Social Democrat Party (PSD) senator Eugen Teodorovici has expressed, on Tuesday, his conviction that Daciana Sarbu, Mircea Diaconu and Corina Cretu will be good ambassadors for Romania in the new positions they have taken in the European Parliament.

"I am convinced they will be good ambassadors for Romania in the European Parliament, and the recently obtained positions will allow them to fight toe to toe, in order to place and maintain Romania in a leading position in the European Union!", said Teodorovici, in a release remitted to AGERPRES by the PSD Press Bureau.

In the same release, that welcomes the election of the mentioned MEPs in the position of Vice President of some European Parliament Committees, senator Teodorovici expressed his belief that Daciana Sarbu's election is "excellent news" for the field in which she has proven that she has the necessary experience and desire to make things better, while the new position held by Mircea Diaconu will allow him to take up some unfinished projects for our country in the cinematography field.

On Monday, Social Democrat MEP was elected Vice President of the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee of the European Parliament, Mircea Diaconu, independent, ALDE group member, being elected, on the same day, to the position of Vice President of the Culture and Education Committee. Last Tuesday Corina Cretu, Social Democrat MEP, was elected Vice President of the European Parliament. AGERPRES
