The Inspectorates for Emergency Situations (ISU) of Bucharest and six counties on Wednesday evening joined the forces that for the past over 48 hours have been involved in rescue missions in the flood-stricken areas. 'In the conditions of the flooding of the past few days, as well as of the weather warnings that are maintained for the counties of the south-west of Romania, Deputy PM for National Security and Interior Minister Gabriel Oprea took several organising measures for supplementing the rescue teams and equipment deployed in the affected areas,' informs an Interior Ministry (MAI) release remitted to Agerpres on Thursday.

* The Government in the meeting on Thursday will debate two ordinance drafts on the revision of the state budget and the state social insurance budget for 2014, as well as several resolution drafts aimed at earmarking emergency aids and funds for the counties affected by flooding in this period, the Government's Press Office informs. Prime Minister Victor Ponta at the Victoria Palace on Tuesday said that the first budget revision this year will be a positive one to be completed most probably on Friday in a Government meeting devoted to this topic. The Prime Minister pointed out that the budget revenues increase by 1.07 billion lei and the expenses, by 1.34 billion lei.

* MOL Romania has invested over 6.1 million euros in seven new petrol stations, thus extending its national distribution network to 154 units, the company said in a release to AGERPRES on Thursday. The new petrol stations are located in the counties of Constanta, Ilfov, Suceava, Timis, Hunedoara, Iasi and Bihor.
