Keratsini marks one year from Pavlos Fyssas murder

Dozens of people gathered in Keratsini, a suburb of Piraeus, on Thursday, to participate in a series of events marking one year from the murder of 34-year-old leftist rapper Pavlos Fyssas, known as Killah P, by self-professed Golden Dawn member Giorgos Roupakias.

Fyssas died after being stabbed by Roupakias on the street, following an altercation in a local cafeteria.

Meanwhile, an Athens appeals court on Tuesday ruled to extend by an additional six months the pretrial custody of Roupakias, who had asked to be released from custody pending trial, allegedly citing his regret over the murder.
