Belgrade to host Futsal EURO 2016

BELGRADE - Belgrade will host Futsal EURO 2016 with support from the city authorities.

As many as 46 national teams have been announced to take part in the qualifications for the competition, and the City of Belgrade will also participate in the organising committee of the event, said a statement issued following Wednesday's meeting between Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali and officials of European football's governing body UEFA.

All games of the championship will be broadcast live from Belgrade in 20 languages to 59 countries. The final tournament will take place from February 2 through 13, 2016, with the draw ceremony to be held in the Old Palace in 2015.

All Futsal EURO 2016 matches will be played at Belgrade's Kombank Arena.
