The candidate of the Christian Liberal Alliance, Klaus Iohannis, has stated on Thursday that he does not believe there will be another televised debate with his counter-candidate, Prime Minister Victor Ponta.

"I don't believe there will be one (e.n. — a debate with Victor Ponta). There is no invitation and no organised debate" (e.n. — for Friday), said Iohannis in a press conference.

He stated that Thursday evening he will participate in a show on private broadcaster Digi 24, not at private broadcaster Antena 3.

"For this evening I had two invitations, I accepted the other one", said Iohannis.

Asked why during the two televised debate he did not look at his counter-candidate, the National Liberal Party leader explained that he does not deal with Victor Ponta.

"I didn't go there to see Mr Ponta, I do not deal with him. I went there to give the voters the possibility of finding out what my vision is, how I see things, what I want to say to the voters. I have nothing to say to Mr Ponta", showed Iohannis.

He refused to grade his and Victor Ponta's participation in the debate of Wednesday evening at private broadcaster B1TV.

"It is a complex examination, the grades will be shown after the final evaluation on Sunday", added Klaus Iohannis. AGERPRES
