One-day chamber music festival in Guarnerius Arts Centre

BELGRADE - Young talents of the world concert scene will deliver a performance on Thursday evening within the Second International Chamber Music Festival in the Guarnerius Fine Art Centre in Belgrade.

The one-day chamber music festival will gather best young musicians who made a successfully career start on the international music scene but do not frequently get a chance to present their music to the Serbian public.

The event that will certainly be the festival's highlight and has already been qualified as the peak concert of the autumn season is the guest performance of young Russian virtuoso and best young contemporary violinist Yury Revich. Revich performed at NIMUS in Nis late on Wednesday, where he won the hearts of the audience who called for several encores, Guarnerius released.

The International Chamber Music Festival in Guarnerius will feature two concerts, with cellist Filip Tomic and pianist Jovana Radovanovic due to perform at 6 p.m. Tomic and Radovanovic are finest young Serbian musicians who have so far won a number of national and international awards and recognitions and have been performing abroad for a number of years now.

The programme of the concert features pieces by Myaskovsky, Schuman, Glinka and Paganini.

The second concert will begin at 8 p.m. and it will feature the performance by violinist Revich and pianist Natalija Mladenovic.

The Moscow violinist, aged 23, has so far performed in all famous concert halls worldwide and in 2013, he opened the 35th season at the prestigious La Scala in Milan. Revich is also the winner of first places at most important international competitions.
