Serbia's water polo team beats Germany in Hamburg

HAMBURG - Serbia's water polo team outplayed Germany 19-10 (3-4, 5-2, 6-3, 5-1) in the second round of Group B of the World League in Hamburg on Tuesday evening.

The team coached by Dejan Savic notched another win on their way to defending the World League trophy, with the first win scored against Spain in Nis last month (9-1).

The most valuable players were Filipovic (4 goals) and Cuk (3 goals), while the German team was led by Stamm (5 goals).

The game was played in the Alster-Schwimmhalle in the presence of around 1,500 spectators.

Serbia is next to take on Russia on January 20.
