Partial solar eclipse visible across Greece on Friday

A partial solar eclipse is expected to be visible across Greece on Friday. According to scientists, the phenomenon will be visible in the capital from 10.40 a.m. to 12.50 p.m.

Experts warn members of the public that special eclipse glasses must be used by those wishing to observe the phenomenon.

Telescopes for viewing will be available at the Eugenides Foundation (11 Pentelis, Paleo Faliro) on Friday morning, while a live streaming of the partial solar eclipse will be available on the website of the National Observatory of Athens.
