Leftist MP blames toddler’s murder by father on … capitalism’s depravity

A leftist SYRIZA deputy on Wednesday expressed her extreme grief over the apparent murder of a four-year-old girl by her father – a high-profile case that has shocked Greece – by also blaming the … capitalist system!

“Ani, apologies for a society that we failed to civilize in time so you could have been born,” wrote Piraeus-area MP Nina Kasimati on her US-designed and corporate America-based Facebook account.

The outspoken leftist activist links the murder of the young Bulgarian girl, Ani Borisova, with both the ongoing economic crisis and the … Germanwings crash in the French Alps.
Here’s a translation:

“I am shocked. The details of four-year-old Ani’s murder by her … father are beyond the pale of human thought…

“People, in this historic phase of capitalism, are being transformed into monsters. And the remaining memorandum-tinged state, which is nary a state, makes them even more depraved, as it cannot help them.

“There is no extenuation for this father, but beyond the tear jerking that we’ll hear about this patently obvious heinous crime, let us think about the reasons, and where we’re headed if we tolerate this economic junction … let us all assume the responsibility and say we can’t take it any more, whatever the transitory cost.

“Besides, the ‘lunacy’ of the Germanwings pilot is not irrelevant with the pressure entailed in the neo-liberal model.

“… The pilot takes the passengers with him in his own personal abyss; the father that must feed his child turns it into food… Either we’re all saved together, or none of us are…”

More research is obviously needed to link this type of monstrous crime to capitalism, as well as the German pilot’s apparent suicide-by-plane-crash to the “neo-liberal model”, given that one or two paradoxes may arise, such as Andrei Chikatilo or Sergey Golovkin, or even 9/11, to name a few.
