Numan Kurtulmu? appointed gov't spokesperson

Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmu? has been appointed as the interim government spokesperson after the departure of Bülent Ar?nç from the cabinet last week. 

The appointment was announced through a governmental decree informing about the division of labor among the four deputy prime ministers. Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu will continue to be responsible for the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the Religious Directorate as well as other important governmental bodies. 

Deputy Prime Minister Yalç?n Akdo?an will be responsible for the media, the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation and the Anadolu Agency, while Kurtulmu? will serve as the government?s spokesperson. Deputy Prime Minister Cevdet Y?lmaz will be the main economy coordinator and all key bodies such as the Treasury, Central Bank and public banks will under his subordination. 

Deputy Prime Minister Tu?rul Türke? from the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) will be responsible for Cyprus and running the Alliance of Civilization Project.
