Gov’t will insist on the 35,000 euros income limit, says gov’t spokesman

Government spokeswoman Olga Gerovassili spoke to private TV SKAI and referring to the bad loans and the protection of the first home, she said that the government will do whatever possible and for that reason it builds alliances in the EU. As she said, French President Francois Hollande is a strong ally.

She added that the government will insist on the 300,000 euros wealth and 35,000 euros income limit. “The government will not accept the acquisition of businesses and privates bad loand from foreign funds” she said adding that that there is still room for negotiations.

Regarding the refugee issue she said that “We will not allow the operation of concentration camps again” underlining that Athens has expressed its opposition on the hosting of approximately about 50,000 refugees in Greece . She added that it goes without saying that Greece will receive the “equally and proportionately” number of refugees.

She also noted that Greece expects the required financial support.
