Turkish Airlines (THY) are calling on international investors to "Invest in Turkey" in a logo on the fuselage of an Airbus-330.

The promotional aircraft is to fly to a number of destinations to promote Turkey across the world, THY said on Nov. 17.

Introducing the jet at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, THY Chairman ?lker Ayc? said, "We would like to draw the world's attention to investing in Turkey. This text will travel around the world on the plane and invite foreign investors to Turkey."

The airline and the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of the Turkish prime minister's office worked together on the project.

THY has been a member of Star Alliance, one of the world's largest airline groups, since 2008. Ranked as the best airline in Europe since 2011, the company flies to 283 destinations in 111 countries.
