A Turkish ‘observer’ arrived in Chios with Turkish-occupied Cyprus passport

A Turkish police officer arrived in Chios on Sunday night attempted to use a passport bearing a stamp of pseudo-state of Turkish-occupied northern Cyprus, according to politischios.gr.

At first the Turkish police officer was allowed to remain on the island during the night, but on Monday morning he was transferred to the customs of the island, until authorities could decide on whether he will be accepted or he will have to return to Turkey.

The information was also confirmed by General Police Directorate of Chios stressing that the police officer remains at the customs of the island. National Intelligence Service has also been engaged.
