Bullets addressed to top revenue official intercepted

Officials at the main post office in Faliro, southern Athens, intercepted an envelope containing three bullets addressed to the general secretary of public revenue, Giorgos Pitsilis, authorities said on Tuesday.

The envelope, which did not carry the sender's name or address, was discovered at 2.30 p.m. at the sorting office.

Police were conducting forensic tests on the envelope in search of fingerprints and other clues.
