Vucic proposes six-month suspension of disputes with Croatia

ZAGREB - Serbs and Croats have no conflicting interests as regards the future, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has told the Croatian paper Globus in an interview ahead of his visit to Zagreb, proposing a six-month suspension of disputes on contentious issues from the past.

Speaking about traumatic subjects from WWII and the 1990s war, which cause the most tensions in the relations between Croatia and Serbia, Vucic said the best thing to do would be to make an agreement to suspend disputes on them for a period of time in order to calm the situation and establish dialogue.
