Vojvodina provincial assembly constituted

NOVI SAD - The new assembly of Serbia's Vojvodina province was constituted on Friday after the mandates of all its 120 members were approved.

The constitutive session was chaired by the oldest member of the assembly, Miroslav Spanovic.

The Aleksandar Vucic-led Vojvodina Must Not Stop electoral list has the majority in the assembly - 66 seats - and is followed by Serbia Against Violence (30) the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (9), the Socialist Party of Serbia (7), a coalition formed by the New Democratic Party of Serbia, HOPE for Serbia and the Movement for Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia (7) and the Russian Party (1).

Serbia Against Violence deputies did not attend - instead, those who turned up for the session remained in the Assembly Members' Club.
