Ethnic Albanians in Montenegro join Pristina's celebration
BELGRADE - The interruption of Wednesday's Euro 2016 qualifier match between Serbia and Albania, caused by a drone suspending a flag with signs of the so-called Greater Albania above the pitch, has been celebrated by ethnic Albanians in Ulcinj, Plav and Tuzi in Montenegro.
Krunic through to third round of the Kremlin Cup WTA
MOSCOW - Serbian female tennis player Aleksandra Krunic qualified for the third round of the Kremlin Cup WTA as she defeated France's Caroline Garcia, 6-4, 6-2.
Krunic received a special invitation from the cup organisers to take part in the competition. In the Tuesday match, she easily ousted the world's 36th player after just 54 minutes into the game.
Special award for film Monument to Michael Jackson
BELGRADE - Darko Lungulov's film Monument to Michael Jackson has won the Special Award of the Jury at the Let's Cee film festival in Vienna.
The jury stated that the film had captured them with its vivid story located in Serbia that transforms a serious topic with an original twist and excellent acting into a great pleasure for the audience.
European bankers attend IT forum at NBS
BELGRADE - Officials of European countries' central banks met at the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) on Tuesday for a three-day forum on information and communication technology in central banks, the NBS has stated.
The meeting, the largest of its kind in Europe, was opened by NBS Vice-Governor Ana Gligorijevic and head of the IT Sector goran Kunjadic.
Montenegro Orders Cut in High Internet Prices
The largest internet service provider in Montenegro, Crnogorski Telekom, has been ordered to slash its prices by about a third over the next few weeks.
The company, which became part of Deutsche Telecom following privatization 10 years ago, will have to cut the price of its internet services by 25 per cent from November 1 and by 35 per cent from December 1.
Montenegro Needs Younger Army, Report Says
Montenegro needs more officers and younger professional soldiers in its armed forces, if they are to meet NATO requirements, a new Defence Ministry report says.
According to the annual report on the state of the army, the peacetime size of the armed forces is 2,000 troops, which is deemed "in line with the needs and capabilities" of the small Adriatic country.

Turkish Army to Train Montenegrin Troops
Montenegro is planning to conclude a five-year military agreement with Turkey involving the joint training of troops and military exercises.
Montenegrin soldiers will be able to attend Turkish military schools and academies and also "training courses for underwater attacks and defence" as well as training for commandos, the draft, which BIRN has seen, says.
