Bulgaria Comemorates 184th Birth Anniversary of Revolutionary and National Hero Vassil Levski
Events were held in many places across the country marking the 184th birth anniversary of Bulgarian revolutionary and national hero Vassil Levski. Dubbed the Apostle of Freedom, Levski organized and led a revolutionary movement to liberate Bulgaria from the Ottoman rule.
US President Biden and Secretary Blinken Addressed Participants in Three Seas Initiative Summit in Sofia via Video Call

Bulgarian Socialist Party to Return Cabinet-Forming Mandate on 5 May
The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will return the exploratory mandate to form a government on May 5.
The information was released by head of BSP-Sofia Kaloyan Pargov, emerging from a sitting of the BSP National Council on
Saturday.
"We made the decision to return the mandate, given the current situation and circumstances," Pargov said.
Bulgaria: Borissov Set to Run for President
If there is a caretaker government, Boyko Borissov will join in the race for the presidency. This became clear from his words before the journalists who were waiting for him outside the hospital after he was discharged. Borissov did not show up in parliament for a hearing on the Recovery Plan: How could I appear like this, he asked.
