Eight more died in Serbia; 305 newly infected with coronavirus, total 1,476 infected
In the last 24 hours, the number of people positive to COVID-19 increased from 1.117 to 1.476.
Since Thursday at 3 pm, 748 people were tested and 305 were positive on COVID-19.
A total of 874 patients were hospitalized and 81 are placed on the respirator.
By 3 pm in Serbia, a total of 5.756 people were tested who met the criteria for a case definition.
Curfew from 1 pm on Saturday till 5 am on Monday VIDEO
He said at a news conference that more than two people had been banned from gathering as of tonight.
"The first measure is to introduce curfew on Saturday from 1 pm to 5 am on Monday," he said, adding that the ban does not apply to the pensioners who can go to the stores on Sunday from 4 am to 7 am.

The total number of hospitalizations is 302, and 42 people have recovered from coronavirus, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said.
At the beginning of his address, Vucic cited the number of people who died in Europe today, with particular emphasis on Italy, in which 969 people died in the last 24 hours.

Fourth coronavirus victim in Serbia VIDEO
It is the fourth victim of a coronavirus in Serbia.
Loncar told RTS that she had been a longtime diabetic patient and had passed away yesterday afternoon.
"She has been on a respirator since March 21, in severe shape. The doctors were fighting, but unfortunately they were unable to help," Loncar said.

There will be a curfew 24/7 starting on Tuesday if we do not comply with these measures, the President said.
"On Monday, it will be from 2 pm, from Tuesday curfew will last 24 hours," he added.
"As of tomorrow there are no parks, there is nothing. If that is not enough, if there are large number of people on the street again, the curfew will be from 7 am to 1 pm", he said.

Vucic: Curfew will be extended VIDEO
"Curfew will not only be from 8 pm until 5 am," the President points out.
"We have exceeded the figure of 100 infected, out of which 55 are in hospital, 6 are in serious condition and are on respirators," says Vucic.
