Ugljanin: SDA does not want to join government at all costs

BELGRADE - Party of Democratic Action (SDA) leader Sulejman Ugljanin said on Thursday he expected an invitation to talks concerning the next government from the future prime minister designate, but that the SDA would not become a part of that government at all costs.

"We expect in time to meet with the future prime minister designate, because he has said he will discuss the next government with all parties, but the requirement for our joining would be to include the fundamental principles of our party in the programme of the government, thta is more inclusion of the Bosniaks," he told reporters after a meeting with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.

Considering the bad experiences in the government led by Mirko Cvetkovic and the outgoing government headed by Ivica Dacic, the SDA will not join the next government at any cost, he noted.

Ugljanin said he had told Nikolic he was willing to continue working on sustainable development of underdeveloped municipalities in Serbia and higher level of inclusion of the Bosniaks in the country's political and social life.

He stressed he was proud of his work so far concerning sustainable development of poorly developed regions.
