ForMin: No confirmation so far about Romanians aboard aircraft downed in Ukraine

The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) informs there has been no confirmation so far of Romanian citizens on board of the Boeing 777 aircraft crashed in eastern Ukraine on Thursday.

"Following inquiries by the crisis cell, there has been no confirmation so far of Romanian nationals on the list of passengers aboard the Boeing 777 airplane of the Malaysia Airlines that crashed in eastern Ukraine en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur," according to a release MAE sent to AGERPRES.

The MAE crisis cell along with Romania's diplomatic missions in The Hague, Kuala Lumpur and Kiev remain in permanent contact with the local authorities until the release of the official passenger list, MAE reports. AGERPRES
