"On behalf of the Government and of the people of Romania I want to convey my sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the attack at the 'Charlie Hebdo' office. My thoughts also go out to the French people. We strongly condemn all acts of terrorism, which are wholly unjustified and intolerable. Romania stands in solidarity with France in these terrible moments of deep indignation and profound sadness," reads the message Victor Ponta wrote in French.

The Premier discussed with French Ambassador Francois Saint-Paul before signing in the condolence book.

"I met with Ambassador of the French Republic in Bucharest. I want to express our solidarity with the families who lost their loved ones and our indignation over the Charlie Hebdo criminal actions. They cannot be justified in any way. Romania stands at the side of France and we fight so that terrorism and such inhuman acts be prevented in the future," Ponta wrote on his Facebook page. AGERPRES
