Vulin confers with World Bank representatives

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran Care and Social Affairs Aleksandar Vulin conferred on Friday with Regional Director for South-East Europe Ellen Goldstein who headed the World Bank (WB) delegation.

According to the Ministry's release, Goldstein expressed gratitude for the exceptional cooperation with representatives of the Ministry so far in defining the activities and realisation of the projects of support to reforms in restructuring companies and support to the improvement of competitiveness and increase of employment.

Special attention was drawn to the importance of the social component in the projects and further work on the reform of the National Employment Service and redesigning the measures of active employment policy, the release states.

The meeting ended with mutual expressions of readiness for continuation of cooperation aimed at support to further reform in the labour market.
