Varoufakis: I will not take part in these sad elections

In his umpteenth interview former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said he was planning to form a European network to restore democracy on the continent. Speaking to Reuters, Varoufakis said he would take part in the ‘sad elections’ in September. ‘Instead of having parties on a national level, it will be a European network active on a national level’. said the ‘erratic Marxist’. ‘It is not something immediate. It is something slow-burning…something that gradually grows roots across Europe’, he said.
