Stacey Kent in Istanbul

Grammy-nominated jazz singer Stacey Kent will take the stage in Istanbul on April 21.

Kent launched her artistic career in the early 1990s. After a couple of years, she started to appear on the opening slots for praised jazz artists at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London, among regular musicians such as Jamie Cullum, Jeff Beck and Maynard Ferguson.

In 1997, Kent released her first album "Close Your Eyes," which was worshipped by the critics and also reached the status of "Best-Selling British Jazz Album" of the same year. Throughout her long career, she has released nine more albums and most recently "The Lyric," which grabbed the Album of the Year at the 2006 BBC Jazz Awards.

With her captivating voice, Kent will perform at Zorlu PSM.
